SME Accountancy (N1) was established in May 2003 and is headed up by Richard Clements FCCA. Richard is a Chartered Certified Accountant with over 14 years experience in public practice. In 1996 he passed the final professional examination in the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and was admitted as an Associate later that year. In 2001 he was admitted as a Fellow and in 2003 he obtained a practicing certificate enabling him to carry on an accountancy practice. |
Having commenced his career within a small local practice in 1990, where he qualified, Richard moved to PriceWaterhouseCoopers (formally Coopers & Lybrand) in 1997 where he took over as Tax Manager after 7 months and continued in this position for over 5 years. Then in 2003 Richard made the move to establish his own practice.
Over the last 10 years Richard has concentrated a lot of time to taxation matters, mainly covering the following areas:
• Corporation Tax
• Income Tax
• PAYE
• VAT
• Inheritance Tax
• Capital Gains Tax
As tax manager and since leaving PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Richard has been providing, through SME Accountancy (N1), a high level of taxation advice and tax planning. This has given SME Accountancy (N1) a wide breadth of experience and has meant that the firms' clients are availing of major tax efficiencies. As a small modern accountancy practice we are offering services to businesses which are rarely matched due to our experience within taxation matters. SME Accountancy (N1) has ambitious plans to grow over the next 5 years and, although young, it has significant backup support which ensures the high standards set will continue in the future.
